Zippendorf Beach

You can reach Zippendorf Beach and its promenade either by land or by water, on board of the ships of the Weiße Flotte or in your own boat. It’s only three kilometres from the Palace Gardens. With the first warm sunbeams of summer, residents and visitors alike are drawn to this beautiful place by the lake Schweriner See. Here you can go for a walk, swim in the lake, enjoy the sun or play a game. Especially the beach volleyball field is in high demand. And if you’re looking for something to eat or drink, just visit one of the cafés and restaurants nearby. And don't forget to pay a visit to the nature conservation station.
