Schwerin's Television Tower
If you want to see Schwerin from a bird’s-eye view, Schwerin’s TV tower is the perfect place to do that. The tower, which is 136 metres high, and its pole (273 metres) have been in service since 1964, in the district of New Zippendorf. That same year the legendary “Turmcafé” opened its doors to visitors. The panorama from the café and the viewing platform is breathtaking. At a height of 101 metres you can enjoy the view of the city and its many lakes and woods.
