Schwerin's attractive and impressive cityscape is shaped by the beauty of nature and the combination of historic and modern architecture. A special focus is on the "Alte Garten" where representative government buildings meet the State Theater and the art gallery of the Museum encounter the widhts of Schwerin's Lake together with Schwerin Palace.

The vision of "Lütt Schwerin" (little Schwerin) - or the "Miniaturenpark Schwerin" (miniature park) -  is the model-like presentation of Schwerin's beautiful diversity. For that purpose streets, passages and various buildings are reproduced accurate in every detail on a 1:25 scale.
