Fishing in and around Schwerin

Are you the type who likes to catch his own supper? In the lake Schweriner See you are sure to find rewarding fishing grounds. In the southern part of the lake (Innensee) for example, there are perches, delicious when cooked. In the northern part of the lake (Außensee), you are likely to catch some pike and pikeperch.  There are also many whitefish, like breams and rudds. You will need a tourist’s fishing licence and the permission of the warden in charge, and with some luck and skill you will have a good catch.
