The Fritz-Reuter-stage of the State Theatre of Mecklenburg is a real magnet for all fans of the northern German dialect “Plattdeutsch”. The Low German theatre performances at the State Theatre and the E-Werk are witty, funny and full of worldly wisdom. These plays were written to make people laugh, which is typical of “Plattdeutsch”.
